The Mentality of Russian Women

How do Russian women differ from Europeans or Americans? The fact is that they do not have many features that are typical for Western ladies. Most of the inherited features that we will explain below are a part of the Russian mentality. So, what will a Russian woman never do?

1. She will not prefer a career to a family

Of course, we will not talk about all women. Surely, there are many women in Russia, for whom career growth is in the first place. But most of them are still focused on family relationships. Russians believe that the sooner you get married, the better. As a result, in Europe, the average age of marriage for women is 28 years, and in Russia – 23 years. This feature is also typical for Ukrainian women.

2. She will not refuse to support her children

In Western countries, it is customary to go to college or university and leave home. Students do not wait for parental handouts, they try to stand on their own feet. If a Russian boy or girl becomes a student, they often continue to live in the parental home, or their parents regularly send them money during their studies. If we take into account how many single-parent families exist in Russia, it becomes clear that basically, the care of an adult child lies on a woman’s shoulders.
